My First Mexican Vacation

Last week I went on my very first Mexican vacation! I had so much fun! I went to Puerto Vallarta with my mom and dad. When I got there, my Lady Gran and Grandaddy were already there! Here are some pictures of my adventure!

We got to the airport in plenty of time so I got to do some playing and rolling around on the airport carpet! Our flight was delayed for over an hour, but that was OK with me. I was having a good time playing!

We got there pretty late on Thursday night. I did really well on the plane and didn't cry once! I even got my own seat! I felt like such a big kid!

I got to sleep with mom in her bed for the first time. I thought that it was fun, but mom had a different story! She said that it would be the first and only time that I was allowed to sleep in bed with her. I guess I didn't make a very good partner to sleep with!

That is OK because I did get to take lots of naps on the patio outside! It was so peaceful because I would hear the ocean as I slept!

One big event that happened while I was in Mexico is that I sat up for the first time! It was in my stroller, but now I want to sit up everywhere!

On Saturday, it was my first Longhorn game day, but I wasn't able to watch the game. Mom and Dad let me wear my game day shirt to bed the night before and let me wear it all day. I was really glad about that. You can see that I was trying to support the Horns all the way from Mexico.
I also got to go swimming for the first time! My mom made me wear this crazy hat...but I looked pretty cute! She also had to put so much sun block on me...I wasn't sure what was going on! This is my first time swimming with Dad. I wasn't sure what was happening, but I had a great time!

We also did a lot of other things...like go shopping and just walk around the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. I was very interesting to look around and see everything. It was so different from home.

We got to go to a few good resturants while we were there. Here is me and mom on the patio one night around my bedtime. They just would not let me stay up late even though we were on vacation!

Overall I had a great time! Mom, Dad, Lady Gran and Grandaddy said that I was a great baby on the trip! I can't wait to go back soon! Hopefully by that time I will be old enough to play more in the pool and stay up late!!
