Walking Shoes

Today has been a fun day! When I got up Mom and Dad told me that I was going to get to go to the mall and buy my first pair of walking shoes. I have had shoes, but nothing like this. We walked around Northpark and Dad bought me some new jeans at Gap and some other things at Janie and Jack.
Then we were off to Nordstrom's for some shoes! I have a wide foot...or so they say...so we had a little bit of a hard time finding some that fit. But we did!
It is very different walking around in these, but I know I will get the hang of it.

Hi Everyone!!!

Just wanted to share a few pics of me that Mom took in the past day! I am growing up so fast!
Here I am driving my car that Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Brian bought me for Christmas! I was having a great time!

Here I am trying to go outside! I love standing by the window and watch Dixie play out there! Mom and Dad would not let me go outside because it was too cold!

Mom came home early from work today! I was so surprised when I woke up from my nap to see her here so early! So we did get to go on a fun walk this afternoon because the weather was so nice today!

All bundled up!!!

It has been really cold outside the past few days!

This weekend I went to stay at Grammy's house while Mom and Dad celebrated Aunt Emily's 30th birthday! I know that they had a great time...and I did too! This is me...all bundled up before I went to Grammy's. I think I look pretty cute!! Lady Gran bought me this sweater because she knew it would be really cold!

When I got to Grammy's, I had a great surprise! I have my own room here now with a big crib and all! Here are a few pictures that I brought back to Mom and Dad so that they could see.

I came back on Monday and have been hanging out with Dad every since. We haven't been able to do much becuase it has been really cold! Mom is actually here with me now because it is too icy to go to work...I am helping her answer her emails!

The most fun part of it being so cold is that Dad keeps me in my comfy PJ's all day!!

Hopefully I will be able to play outside this weekend!! I am becoming a pro at walking around!!

Happy 10 Months!!!

Just a few days ago, I turned 10 months old! I have to say...it has been a pretty great few weeks. I have begun learning to walk without my walker. I can really take good steps as long as I have my walker or I am holding on to something or someone, but I even took a few steps on my own this past week.

Also, I am talking more and more. I can say "da da" pretty good! Before you know it I will be walking and saying all kinds of things. I AM almost 1 year old...

Here I am just a few minutes ago getting my first taste of mashed potatoes. They were SO YUMMY!!!

I really loved the mashed taters. They were all over everything.
